Why are there so many R4 clones? Are there clone issues with other cards on the market? Why are there so many R4 clones out there? BEFORE your scream at me I bought an R4 a while back, tried it had no problems and then bought several others. I have NEVER “knocks on desk” had a problem with them. BUT I have just bought an Acekard 2.1 and an Acekard 2i so I can compare them to each other. Will let you know what I think. Was I just lucky and got good cards? Mine are all SDHC compatible so they are “more than likely” cloned. HOWEVER I already have them so I not going to toss them is the trash either. I am just planning ahead for possible future compatible problems. The only game I have so far not been able to play is the “Personal Trainer cooking Game” so I used that as a reason to buy the DS & Game combo pack they were selling at the store since they were a “better bargain” that way VS just buying the cart… The fact that the DS just “happened” to also be green my FAVORITE color when I didn’t need a new DS was just a coincidence I swear!… (side note the kids were not fooled either v_v0) I know I may have touched a sore spot with some people, but please don’t be rude to other posters. P.S. If you love the game buy it! Support the game makers!
WHy? All cashing in on the brand that apparently "started it all". All are made by different companies/people wanting a buck, why some can use akio (acekard all in one-ALTERNITIVE FIRMWARE FOR THE ACEKARD) because it is based upon it's design... Too bad it's made more shoody Some clones are ok, but otherwise stick to the acekard, provided you didnt get a fake (they made dedicated fakes now..) it's a way better card, just ask me
