Hello there, members of the Romulation.net community.

I am Dan, with the username DanCubs. Hmm. I am a college freshman taking up Communication Arts.

I fell in love with video games when I was about 5. My parents bought me a SNES. Every weekend I would wake up really early to play Ninja Gaiden and Super Mario Bros. And everytime I put that cartridge in, take the controller and just sat and saved the day, it felt like every moment was heaven.

In the past, I have had a Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, DS Phat, PS1, PS2, DSi, PC and the mentioned SNES. I'm not a hardcore gamer, but it's one of the few things I couldn't live without.

One of my more productive hobbies is Writing. I write essays, poems, and songs. More on this, I am a budding amateur musician. Taking projects here and there, recording over weekends, and releasing on small scale over facebook. It's a nice and fulfilling hobby.

As a musician, I sing, play the guitar, piano, bass and a bit of drums. And I record in my very own room.

Hmmmm. Although I am not that into the videogaming scene, I still get a glimpse of every little thing that's in at the moment, especially having friends with wiis and ps3s. But more often, I enjoy handheld gaming more. Why? I can't quite explain, but it's always been like that. Having a choice between a console or a handheld, I always went towards the little guy.

Anyways, if ever theres anything else ya'll would want to know, just ask. ;)

Hope to enjoy my stay here, since everyone is real friendly and nice.

My parents are a very supportive couple. They'd fund my gaming every now and then, but it comes at a price. They expect me to be a good student. Haven't let them down since.

My gaming passion is now self funded, my wii, ps2, psp, dsi (6th in australia-got it before america got theirs-a first) and a dslite!

But back at age 7, I got heaps...

    NES
    Snes
    n64
Gamecube (half paid by me, rest mother)
Laptop (it plays dead space and resident evil just fine :) )
    Original gameboy
    Gameboy pocket
    Gameboy colour
    GBA
    GBA SP
DS phat (imported from japan...graphite black)
DSlite (we had 3 in total at one point...a white I won in a ds torneyment, black which I trading it for and an imported dark blue which brother broke :( )

As you can see I'm a huge nintendo fan, though my parents didn't expect me to be a good student, guess they just wanted me happy XD

Wow, a musician, we've had a few latly join this site, maybe all of you guys should start a and XD

(All I can play is the harmonica...been 2 years since I lost it :( )

EVERYONE, LOOK! HYPNOS HAD MORE CONSOLES THAN ME! lol

Now that's a lot. I've never had more than one DS. :p Once I traded my phat in, I got a DSi in less than 30 seconds.

Traded it off at Gamestop. :p

Yes, an online band. It's very much possible. We could just send around tracks, and record, then give it to the next person.
    A very good idea. :D
