eh? who is the master of numbering? i think its cool the same rom has the same number everywhere. who and how does this happen? also, gta chinatown is the best.
Rom gets dumped, releases to public, gets next number in line. Simple as that. It's not any kind of exact science or anything. That's why varying sites can have varying numbers for a particular release.
It is actually, hardware dumps, for instance don't get a number, club nintendo neither, only commercial games. And usually they get numbered in the order they pre. (are uploaded to the big FTP sites) But all sites don't have access to the same places so sometimes they PRE order is seen as different between people so people don't always agree. Then there is the concept of nukes and whether or not they keep their number or not, that is often where our numbering differs from other sites. But yeah, I decide the RomUlation numbers just like the admins of the other sites decides what their numbering will be - thus also why it's pretty useless.
