Some of the nds games I download on to my R4 show a white screen when I try to play them? What is up? I have and R4 pro, if that helps.

Some of the ROMs you have downloaded have AP.
You'll need to patch them or update your R4 firmware.

If you wish to patch, go to this topic.
If you wish to update (well, actually go to a new firmware, go to this topic.

    It depends.
Patching is more complicated, but doesn't require you to update the firmware every time a ROM is released with AP.

I'd go with a new firmware.
Scratch that. There isn't one for you.

Patch the ROMs that don't work and then try again.

I think white screens are caused by compatibility issues, patching won't help. You'll need to update your firmware if there is any available.

It can be AP as well.
RGF's firmware doesn't support his card, so that's a dead end. The only way to go is patching.

I think this is just a case of outdated firmware and clone R4 card .

Maybe ysmenu may work through your original firmware.

RGF firmware listed this as a: Working as Dual Boot (Keep your ORIGINAL Firmware) :

    From his package.

It mean the firmware thats already on your card, leave it as is, and use the boot loader from the other firmware as Dual Boot , it will be an .nds file to load.

    ............

your main firmware google is your friend.
