Which flash cart works the best with a DSi XL?

First post ever, so go easy on me. ;)

I plan on buying a new Nintendo DSi XL by the end of the month. I've used flash carts on other systems, jailbroken my iPod, flashed CFW on my PSP when I owned one, etc but DSi is fairly new to me. I have a few things to contemplate:

1.) Which flash cart is the most compatible with the DSi XL?
2.) Where is a reputable place to buy your flash cart of choice? I would like to buy from a company in North America if possible to avoid having to wait a month or have my bank credit card freak out since it's an overseas purchase. I could also use Paypal.
3.) What is the biggest MicroSD card these accept?
4.) Do speed classes matter? I'm seeing 16GB MicroSD cards really cheap, but they are class 2. Should I downgrade to an 8GB card and go for a higher speed class?

If it makes any difference I'm a Mac user primarily, but I do have access to systems running Windows 7 or Ubuntu 10. Thanks!

    1. SuperCard DSTWO, best on the market ;P
    2. Either www.Shoptemp.net or the site i use www.ishopvideogame.com
    3. 32 GB i believe is the universal max for flashcarts
    4. Nope, when using a flashcart, the speed class doesn't matter, get the 16 GB ;P

everything ryan said is true except for the speed class.

class 2 cards tend to have more slow downs and problems. go for a class 4 (at least, haven't tried class 6+).

    1. True
    2. Shoptemp
    3. 32GB is the limit for any SDHC compatible device. Then it goes to SDXC which is rather pricey and not too popular or well known, or supported by flashcarts at this time.
    4. Class does matter. A class 10 card is a lot faster than a class 2 card. :p

From personal experience I can't recommend a better flashcart for the DSi XL than the Supercard DSTWO. I haven't had a single game not work for me yet, and I've been playing all the recent games like Pokemon Ranger 3 and the new Final Fantasy game.

    3. The DSTWO states to have support for any (SDHC) micro SD card (with 64 GB being the biggest if I'm correct).

There is no 64GB micro SDHC card. It is a 64GB Micro SDXC card.

Will the Supercardtwo work with a DSi XL that's been updated to 1.4.1?

Speed does matter. I have a few games that refuse to run on a class 2 card yet run just fine on a class 4.

I'd recommend a DSTwo and a PNY class 4 micro sd card. PNY, from my experience, is the best flash memory you can buy.

As for were to buy, www.realhotstuff.com is the best for all your pornographic flashcart needs.

Speed doesn't matter with the DSTWO.

Just make sure you formatted with the Panasonic tool to fix the slowness it can get.

well now the dstwo may be a second choice since the ievolution is looming on the horizion with real dsi mode.

but i personaly plan on trying both dstwo and ievolution out with a 32GB class 16 mircro sd.(i have a good freind who provided me with the card.)

"According to Team Cyclops, their new DSi cart, the CycloDS iEvolution will have as the first cart ever, support for exclusive DSi features such as the camera and SD access. The cart will run in DSi mode and take advantage of the hardware of the DSi, including the full CPU clock. The CycloDS iEvolution also enables exclusive DSi homebrew, that wont work on another flash carts. Team Cyclops will support the DSi homebrew scene by providing developers free units."
