I know there are a few threads about this but I want to know what I should get. Firstly I do NOT want anything with R4 in its name as my clone formatted my micro sd last night(It was either that or Bunjalloo). I don't particularly want an Acekard due to that fact it has been cloned and it is hard to tell the difference without removing the sticker. Neither do I want anything with flimsy build quality either such as the m3i zero. I would prefer if it was compatible with the DSi however that is not required. Basically I want a good quality card with regular firmware updates of good quality. At this moment in time I'm considering the Supercard DS two when it comes out(DS one if i cant wait) or the cyclo DS. So does anyone have any recommendations on which cart to buy
I, personally, would go with the CycloDS. Although it doesn't support the DSi yet, the Cyclo Team is working to make a firmware update, rather than forcing you to buy a new card, to fix the problem. Additionally, the CycloDS Evo comes with lots of features that no other card gives like RTS (save states), battery saver (I really don't know how this works), and recently, stealth mode, which is supposed to bypass anti-piracy. The team is always updating through betas to fix any anti-piracy as well. Finally, I found that my CycloDS is pretty durable, having lasted 3 or so years. I really think that the CycloDS is the best choice (but that's just my opinion)
Yes, however The Supercard Evo OS also has save slots, hotkey intergration, slow motion (doubt I'll ever use it!), rtg, as well as patching options so if it doesn't work by default it may with some tinkering. Also its the built in emulators of the DS TWO, if they support them and don't just intergrate any old emulator, which makes me want to get one. For example with zelda st you could make the saves bigger and then with some more tinkering bypass anti piracy. At the moment I'd probably go for cyclo if it was urgent(mabye ds one) but I would like the supercard ds two. :|
