HI, I have a nintendo ds lite, could you tell me which is the best fire card to get to download games, and where do I go to format it?? Thanks a lot.
fire caard? OH you mean flash card! well if you want something cheap and useful get an acekard. if you want something a little expensive but much MUCH better than acekard, get supercard. go search for them in google. don't get R4 it sucks.
I disagree with that, lotlat. Yes, most are clones. But that doesn't mean all clones suck. Some clones do have good support for their cards. The original R4 has Wood R4 which makes it one of the best cards. But on-topic, look here: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43005.0
Fire Card is an actual flashcart. I wouldn't get one of those. I would recommend Acekard 2i or the SuperCard DSTwo. The "Original" R4 from ShopTemp is only good if you want good compatibility. It doesn't support SDHC cards like the two listed before it.
Acekard 2i and Supercard DSTWO(esp this one) are highly recommended especially for the games with annoying Anti-Piracy(AP)protection they can mostly bypass them on a side note: some country doesn't have Supercard ds2(like mine) but you could buy online
YOU SIR ARE INCORRECT! Its the CLONES that suck. The original ("real") R4 is very good. One of the best. As long as you use wood with it.
If it had DSi support and it supported SDHC, then it would be almost as good as the AK2i or the DSTwo in my opinion. Well, at least the Fire Card doesn't blow your DS up.
THIS ISN'T ABOUT HIM....Oh yeah, it is. OOPS! Well, I would personally recommend an Acekard, mostly just because I've found the Acekard firmwares are usually much quicker with fixing AP. Make sure you get it from a reliable source though. And if you DO go for an R4 instead, make absolutely SURE its an ORIGINAL R4, because the clones are shit. They sorta function, but they're nothing compared to the original.
I like my original R4 lol. It works great and I never wasted my money on the DSi so I never needed support for it. Sure it doesn't support high capacity cards but then neither did the old phone I took the card from lol. I've had it for like 3 or 4 years now and it is still working fine.
