Which DSi version

    Hi, I just got Nintendo DSi for my sons birthday but I don't know which version it is. I already got DSi (bought last year) and R4i card work no problem on "old" DSi. However, it cannot work on new DSi. All I get is black screen with error message. How can I check which software version I got on DSi and then to get another card. Thanks

    You'll need to get a new flashcart due to the 1.4 firmware blocking it.

    I'd suggest the AK2i. Unless you're R4 is the upgradeable kind? (Not sure if there is one though...).

    to check which version you have go to system setting its on the top screen on the lower right part of the screen
