If you're an educator, there's SpED, or "Special Educator's degree.

nah, SpEd is for "special" kids, he is asking gifted kids. Well, normally gifted kids have no study, but they do get scholarships and grants. Acceleration in grades is also a plus, but they dont get studied at. While special kids have classes that suits their special needs.

gifted and special needs often go hand in hand. Autistic kids are usually gifted in one way or another,

I think he means students who are smart. Without any mental disabilities.

When I was in Elementary school, they had a group called "GATE" (Gifted and Talented Education). Couple times a week, they'd take the top students from all the classes, take them for a couple hours, and teach them more advanced stuff, foreign languages, math, etc. It sucked. After a year I told my parents to get me out of it. It was kind of like the Krelboyne's in Malcolm in the Middle.
