Which Anime is best

I really want to know, my .friend likes naruto but I love FMA. You choose.

Other: Big O/Cowboy Bebop/Tenchi Muyo/Eureka Seven/Most Gundams/Heck of a lot of other Animes that arent really Main stream.

 

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a good Teen Anime, very funny.

The //hack series are good. It's about entering a internet game called "THE WORLD"...Sometimes the episodes are based on popular Video games in real life!

Inuyasha is good. It's about a Inu-Boy, Inu apparently meaning Dog or Wolf in Japanese, So a - Half Human, Half Wolf Boy.
Very funny ^^;

When the Higurashi (Cicada in English) Cry...If you like psychotic/horror anime.

I'm sorry, that's all I can think of at the Moment.

 

Pretty much all of my favourite anime are not mainstream.

Well ive only watched about 4 of the ones on the list.
But for other I'd recommend Death Note and Soul Eater (My favorite anime, shame it ended so early)

I already watched all of them except other of course, but my vote is for Initial D.

 

I think they're more games than anything else

 

Not even close to anime, if you even know what anime stands for you would understand this. Anime means Animation, not Video game that attempts to look like a specific style of Anime.

 

Fist of the North Star, Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, and DragonBall Z.

My favorite is anything I'm currently watching, so I'd have to say.... my favorite is chaos;head, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Toradora....etc.

 

Of those dismal choices... Digimon is best. None of the recent crap, but the first season and perhaps parts of the second. For quality anime go check out Ranma 1/2 or Read Or Die.

 

I prefer Eureka Seven. The movie was very good as well.
