where to use points

    Where do we exactly use the points?... All the DS roms I see have a cost of 0...

    Check the PSX Isos. They cost points.

    Hooray, the cost nothing for DS and GBA..

    this is why i love romUlation :D

    Because we don't need to, NDS and GBA ROMs aren't too large so they don't cost us too much bandwidth. However, if we left our PSX ISOs free a lot of users would be downloading 400 MB constantly.

    If we ever get very popular and can't afford to upgrade our connection then we'll make NDS and GBA cost points, but not until then.

    And now Sega Saturn also costs points. But i'm fine with it, considiring i have 5000 or so of points :p

    If it was possible, i'd give away most of my points. Sadly, i've not been playing emulation games for some time now.

    I have roughly 17000, but I haven't been using them lately since I need to get a new hard drive or something to store the games on :p

    I suspect it will be free for quite a while. Unless our traffic should triple and revenue not increase.
