Just purely the ISO, not a RAR.

Please Read This Before Anything Else
    1. Romulation Does not host WAREZ so no WAREZ links on the forum
    2. All ISO'S Are Compressed in a .ZIP Or A .RAR Or Something for a reason (E.G So They Don't Get Taken Down, Less Size = Faster Download)
    3. Try Google For ISO'S, Or Get torrent Client And Go Search On A Torrent Site.

Please Keep ISO'S away From Romu

Wii games do not constitute warez.
rars are just as likely to get taken down as isos.
there's nothing wrong with sharing console isos in the trading station.

    They're allowed. :p
There are WAD files around the forum. Same with DSiware.

The only way you're going to get a whole ISO without RAR files are torrents and most of the Wii game torrents are terribly slow.

And they're just as stupid and put them in RARs too.
Then they do a double fail and provide absolutely no compression at all with the RAR format...

Scrubbed dumps are compressed more, but it isn't the whole game disc that you are getting. Unscrubbed games are larger and have the whole disc.

    Obviously...
That has absolutely nothing to do with RAR format.
And yes, I've seen idiots put unscrubbed images in RAR and it equals out to the same exact size as the unscrubbed image. Result is no compression.

Scrubbed images don't always work if you're using a disc. And actually, scrubbed images aren't compressed, they have padded data ripped out. If it were compressed, then there would have to be something to decompress it in order for it to play. In fact, some games might use the padded data in some unknown way, which is why I recommend not playing scrubbed images unless it's through a HDD.

But really, think of it as if you were seeding the file. I would want to be able to play whatever the file is, be it a music file, video, whatever and seed it at the same time without having two copies on my drive. And since half of the time, there's no compression on the RARs, then what is the point of having it in a RAR format if you're using a torrent? If you're using MU or something, then I would at least expect that the split files be the maximum it can be, because downloading 24 frickin files sucks ass. 4.37 GB, 1 GB links, 5 links is acceptable. Not 10, 20, or 30.

compression can make a significant difference, and if theres a lot of repeated/padding data then it will.

AFAIK megaupload requires people to have premium membership in order to download large files (over one or two GB from memory). They certainly did at one point, I don't know if is still the case. Additionally smaller files are better for people on slow or unstable connections, or people with 'peak' and 'off-peak' tariffs or bandwidth limits, like most UK ISPs seem to use.

Yes, I'm aware of the compression aspect. It CAN make a significant difference, but most scene releases just stuff the ISO into a RAR with no compression. The only time you might find ultra-compressed games are from independent uploaders using MU and other sites like that. But for torrents, and I'm speaking ONLY for torrent uploads, there's no need for RAR format if they're not going to compress it at all...
