where do i start

I have a TTDS card. I am new to this site, and have tried to download some games to put onto my card for the kids, but for some reason when I load the games onto the card they do not work on the console. the preloaded games I have are in file type .nds but the games on this site seem to be .rar and dont work on the console.

can someone please explain in simple terms what I am doing wrong?

many thanks for that Loonylion. have now managed to successfully extract the .nds files from the .rar files

 

7 zip does it all why bother with winrar

i find it just as easy if not eaisier PLUS it comspresses a smaller file size

hi there new to romsite..a friend downloaded most our games for us, now we are trying to do it, downloading is all fine, but not sure on the file type? the games are saving but not playing?? can anyone help please???

 

what the filetype are they e.g. 7z, RAR
