Where did you buy your R4?

    Im having a Problem trying to find a R4 for my DS anywhere any suggestions where to look??

    How is the R4 proper? It patches on-the-go instead of running them clean thus having a lower compatibility rate and requiring firmware updates to make some new games work. Further more it doesn't support SDHC. The R4 was a good second generation flash cart but there are far better alternatives now, honestly, you wouldn't buy a Voodoo graphics card anymore because it's OLD and OUTDATED.

    CycloDS has perfect compatibility since it runs the games clean without patching, it supports SDHC too and possibly save states, I'm not sure about that though so don't take my word for it.

    Actually, the last firmware update fixes two game errors, and yes it does support Save States. That is bloody awesome. Oh and someone made a patched R4 firmware for 1.18 that makes it so it doesn't patch ROMS. Forgot where though,

    But some sites found on google sell fake R4s and such and/or are too expensive. Some people are anxious about buying things online, so it's okay if they ask which sites are good.
