Ok, here is a topic of 2 tales of utter defeat during my "god gamer of PPSS" PPSS-My old school, back when I thought I was a god...and accused of cheating even though it was just me looking at another player's screen in Mario kart First tale... A game of "smack down 2" for playstation, me using a custom character called "reaper" with max stats vs a newb at the game...a girl who normally took along time to learn anything, and obviously never played this game...or any playstation game before. My mates gave me a challenge, no specials, fair enough...and then they'd pull me up when I power slammed her 5 times in a row. Eventually she learnt how to get her specials going, and I went into panic (because we had "max specials" turned on so she always had specials) so I gave her 15 tombstone pile drivers...she gave me another special (I forgot who she was but it was a real wrestler...one with far weaker stats) and that Ko'd me... I broke the challenge AND got my back side handed to me Second story, me (19 at the time) vs's my little brother (10 at the time) in a game of WWE wrestle mania 19 on gamecube (yeah those games get me...) Ok, we both had custom characters, my guy (self styled after me...with bulk from the hulk ) with max stat's vs a re-creation of "reaper" (with almost full stats, second to my guy) and the LONGEST game I've ever played against a human occured... For 20mins, My brother countered EVERY damn move I threw at him, and I only countered half of what he threw back, several specials later...and submissions... Blood rule got me out (as in my face was bleeding and we had the game set to game over if that happens) BLOOD RULE! The purpose of this topic, preferably about playing people that you know are far from your skill level, not online play against people of low rank simple because there are cheats/glitches that can be exploited...but the odd random win doesn't hurt. Wanna share something humiliating or a triumph of the odds?
back in high school someone proclaim to be the god of the king of fighters, i meet him in the local arcade and he challenge me when i'm still playing, before the match he said that i dont know how to play by my choice of lousy character, beating me its like taking candy from a baby. my all girl team (Yuri, Athena and King) perfected his staple team (Yashiro, Iori and Heidern.... its so common, its not even funny).... and he didnt even pass my Yuri which is my weakest character. he challenge me again saying that he is going easy with me just now, and i beat him again with Yuri this time, using only normal throw (kindda my way of owning people) he continue to challenge me 3 times in a rows and i beat him each time with normal throw. he left the arcade after banging the machine. one thing i love arcade is to see the face of people getting beaten. (something that online play lack)
Reminds me when I had my own arcade clan which followed dmaximum tune 2 One time, some guy cracked it because a good mate/clan member usually plays rough with his r34 skyline (he rams people...he takes advantage of it's weight) and we were agaisn't one of the regulars who...were preety damn good at driving. Because we were at Hakone, he had the advantage in terms of space...he rammed him into a wall half way thru...we both won that race...though I came first because my evo6 had an advantage over the fat r34 I miss those days...I should by me a set of machines...
well as for racing game, the only arcade racing game that i play was Daytona USA, although the i'm only good at advance level.
People kept owning me at that game...still it was fun to do the odd kamizaze when your losing Hrm...what more examples can I think of...
well people can try ot do that to me, but offen they have to catch me 1st XD back then i'm already got every coner down to perfect (influence by initial d manga perhaps)
