Is anyone else hanging out for Blood Bowl DS. It should be out by now but I still can't find any reviews etc.
Re: When is Blood Bowl DS getting released? The PC version is available for download now ($49.99AU) IGN Australia says the DS version was released on the 25.6.09 but I've scoured the shops this morning- EB, Game and JB couldn't give me any info about the game. It is being released on all formats, but the DS version will be turn based only. As a massive fan of the original paper & dice version I am really hoping that it is very true to the original. As an aside, when I was a kid (at least 20 years ago) we had a Japanese exchange student who taught me Advance Wars with grid paper and pens before I'd ever heard of the game. When it came onto the GBA I was surprised to realise that this was the game I had been playing and teaching friends how to play for years. I was aware it was originally an electronic game. My friend said they played it on Famicom in Japan(or Japanese Atari, as he explained to me). It goes to show good game design can even transcend formats. I am hoping that Blood Bowl follows this trend. Post Merge: [time]1246100981[/time] Damn, The Game stores in Australia have Blood Bowl Tactics DS down for release on 30/9/09. Yet other sites are saying that the 30/9 is the US release date and it was released in Australia on 25/6/09. Man, it's driving me crazy. GamesWarehouse have the release date as 1/9/09. Yet on the forum on the official website they are saying the DS version will be released a few days after the PC version. Finally, a concrete answer. July 3rd for Europe. Hurrah!
