I just changed my internet from 1.5Mbit to 7Mbit, they say it's going to take until the 19th (5 days from now). Why would it take that long to change my speed?
Apart from what Loonylion said, the upgrade could usually happen sooner. All that Qwest needs to do, is flip a switch at your local CO (Central Office)... Once you start seeing higher speeds, it could be 10 days before you get full speeds because of what we call a "Ramp Up" process.
