Is it just me, or is Pokemon, Fire Red, just a fancy version of Pokemon Red that was for the original game boy, or was it game boy color? Anyway, can anyone tell me any SIGNIFICANT differences between the two other than, wow, the pokemon are now moving! Oh, the graphics are different! And...AWSOME, I CAN PLAY AS A GIRL! Like, are there anything like the pokemon cell phones or communicatin devices like in Emerald or Gold or Silver? Can pokemon hold items? And also, can Leaf Red users trade pokemon with Diamond users? Things like that.
Re: What's up with Pokemon, Leaf Red? Yes. I know what a remake is and I know it's a remake, but before I go downloading it and actually trying to play it this time, I'd like those questions answered if anyone cares enough to answer them. There's a chance I've played it before, but I don't remember all the detaisl either, I think.
Updated graphics The Sevii islands a few changes like being able to refight the elite 4, they will be stronger also, you have to do a few of the sevii islands before you can go to cerulean cave and fight mewtwo. there are probably more changes, but i haven't played either game in awhile.
the game is good they remaked some apects that make the geme life time larger than before and the grafics and sound is bether as well the PK computer is much bether than the one on the gb/gbc and the pokedex is cooler and of course the traiding system is improved need more for a remake?
Re: What\'s up with Pokemon, Fire Red? I guess not. I still want to know if pokemon leaf red can trade with pokemon diamond though ^^;. Post Merge: [time]1266034587[/time] I guess not. Thanks for all the feedback. I might redownload and actually play it then, but I still want to know if pokemon leaf red can trade with pokemon diamond though ^^;.
What do you mean? I can trade Fire Red pokemon with Sapphire Pokemon? But I can't trade Sapphire with Diamond either? And are HG and SS even real games? I was under the impression that they were fan made or something. Thanks for the info though ^^.
You can't trade sapphire with Diamond, you can only migrate, migrate is used to put GBA pokemon on DS games, on D/P you can migrate 6 pokemon a day, once you migrate them you go to the palpark and recapture the 6 pokemon you migrated over.
if youre going to play it on an emulator i think theres a bug after you beat the elite four you cant continue the game thats what happened to me
What are the requirements? And I've only played the original colors, Red, Blue, Yellow (or either red or blue, and yellow), Gold, and Silver, on the actual game boy/game boy advanced systems, so maybe that's why I was able to go back and keep fighting the elite four ^^;.
I think pokemon Fire Red was the first game in the gameboy advanced series to feature the wireless connector, soon after that other games followed suite. Correct me if im wrong though. Pokemon Fire Red is actually a decent port, unlike others which just flat-out sucked. Added into the game are the sevii islands. They get added into the storyline, i think, halfway in the game. At cinnabar island.
