*ahem* My desktop keep receiving an error pop up everytime I'm using it.. Whenever that come out, the only choices I have is to press Ok. and then the "send report" with other choices thingy popped out. So, I click "send report" and then nothing happened, but I'm sure a program was closed off... not sure which one. so any ideas?
are you using the program autoit because from google results, it's a program: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/ mind adding more to when, where, and if there's more to the error than just that one phrase o_o?
I'm not sure if I've install this AutoIt program.... Yes, there are more phrase.. AutoIt Error allocating memory.. or something like that. happening each and everytime I'm using my desktop.
mmmm, if you have ccleaner, try seeing if there are any unknown startups or you can manually check for startups in your registry and such. if it doesn't disable anything important then you're probably a bit fine. Did you install or do anything before this happened? Checked for viruses? Test out what needs to work and if it doesn't?
I don't really remember if i've install anything before this happen, Let me try to clean it first. and this is not a virus isn't it? even I already scan the desktop using Kaspersky, no virus detected though.
never really encountered this before, but i'm just trying to narrow down the possibilities o_o it could or couldn't be a virus, but i can't tell... so, are there any noticeable or drastic changes in your computers like nonfunctioning programs, registry probs, some things don't work like they should or before, etc.?
... working normal I think... hmm.. Nothing happened after that thing occurred, all it ask is "OK" and it terminate itself... hmm.. do you know any known program that related with this thingy?
From the AutoIt wiki, "[...]AutoIt automation scripts have been and can be used for botting in online games and for creating malware, these uses are not an intended objective of the program and are not encouraged by its developers and users within the AutoIt community." If you did not install it yourself, then i suspect something or someone else has. Edit - There is also trojan called AutoIt you can get a removal tool here http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/W32-AutoIt-Trojan-Cleaner.shtml
mm, nope. All i could find out was that it was a program. sorry that i couldn't be of much help in this :X i found a thread with an image of the pop-up but is it similar to yours, i'm off so i can't check :\ http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8635 EDIT: OOOO, i just had an idea. use the program HiJackThis and post the contents of the log that's made. that may be useful for anyone who knows how to look through it.
