I have numerous lucky finds. I bum through a LOT of sketchy pawn shops, flea markets, thrift stores, and, of course, I use craigslist. So, when someone's selling stuff at a good price, I can snatch it up pretty quickly. Here are some of my best finds (in Canadian dollars~):

Super Mario RPG for 5 bucks at a thrift store - since I already had a copy, and a friend ponied up 25 bucks for it, it's now gone.
Harvest Moon 64 - 3 dollars at a thrift store - my favourite find.
Box of assorted NES games - all awesome titles - 10 bucks. :D Thrift stores are EPIC.
    Jungle Green N64 - 13 dollars - Thrift store.
Pokémon Dialga/Palkia DS Lite - Pawn shop - 40 bucks.
    ROB, complete - 30 bucks.
Famicom and Famicom Disk System (all the games were lame, pirated copies, sadly, but all cables and such came with it) - 65 (the FDS usually goes for at LEAST 100) - Craigslist

What are yours? I love sharing snipe stories. :D

I got a brand new copy of FFIX a few years ago, it was on the shelf as secondhand, and since that game is impossible to find here I snapped it up. When I got home I realised it was still sealed.
