Ever since rayquaza, legendaries have been looking like strange aliens in full body armor instead of actual creatures. Why is this happening?

The whole fifth generation (black and white) seem weird to me. Its like they dont belong or somthing I know that none of them are related to any of the other Pokemon cuz of the region being so far away but still... anyone know what Im talking about?

I think the good designs for Pokemon dropped off a few years ago. The first few generations, the first one especially, the monsters original designs were more realistic, and only later were cartoonized for marketing. In fact most people don't know the American sprites were different than the original Japanese ones. Even though they were made cuter, they still held the magic and mystery of the darker designs. Now the process has been streamlined, the lesser Pokemon look like Pikachu, and the more powerful ones look like reptiles who rolled around in scrap metal. They should think of them as monsters first, THEN decide how to market them after that.

I love the Gen 1-3 Designs, and 4 as well, but not as much. 5 as a few good ones, like Mijumaru's evos (NOT mijumaru), and Tsujata and his evos.

i actually think the legendaries are all going to play a part in one huge game maybe after a couple more gens.
yknow like where you go back and get ALL the badges and there will be some actual back story and plot. an IN DEPTH plot explaining the origin story.

I've given up on the main Pokemon games. It's just not fun to me any more.

Yes. Quite true. There's going to be a lot of problems and dropped sales if that happens.

I find they all either look like copies of previous pokemon (anyone else getting sick of seeing pikachu/squirrel/gophers/chipmunk clones in every gen?), direct animals (for example the first couple of new pokemon I caught are nothing more than a dog and a cat - which we have SEVERAL varieties of already), or digimon!

    Quoted For Thruth.

It's not fun anymore if they keep adding the same things over and over...

I don't get why people still spend money on Pokemon...
