I'm going to update my R4 firmware for the first time in ages, but I recently discovered Wood and was wondering is Wood any better than the R4's default firmware?
the r4 no longer gets updates for its firmware so its suggested to use the wood firmware. to answer your question wood is better
It totally depends on which R4 Flash Cartridge you've got. Wood R4 only works on; 1. R4 Revolution for DS v.1.18 that only runs 1GB and 2GB SD Micro Cards (also known as R4 Original) 2. R4i Gold produced by R4ids.cn and R4idsn.com 3. Acekard R.P.G. So if your cart isn't among those listed in the above, then obviously don't attempt to use it !!!
