What's better Rune Factory or Harvest Moon?

It's all about preference. Some days I feel like just farming and other days I feel like farming and beating up on monsters. So it varies greatly.

I have just about every Harvest Moon for DS and I play them all.

 

Hahaha, cool.

But here's a protip; common sense says answer with Harvest Moon or Rune Factory.

Hmm... both games appeal to me in varying ways, but if I were to choose...

I'd pick Rune Factory

Both cool games, I like them both.

But when it comes down to it, Rune Factory ftw.

 

Harvest Moon, I love RPGs but Rune Factory angers me.

 

Why does Rune Factory anger you?

 

rune factory because it has all the components of harvest moon with some RPG fighting elements. sometimes you need to get a mineral so you have to fight some boss to get it.

 

Since Rune Factory was released Harvest Moon has gone downhill... I'd have to say Rune Factory as well

 

They are planning to make a comeback with the incoming release of Harvest Moon Twin Villages, hoping for the sake of Harvest Moon fans it can compete with the oncoming Rune Factory 3.

So let's just keep on wishing to best for our ancient pal Harvest Moon.

 

when they're released in Australia (like 2015 if ever) I'll buy both... Until then I'll download both. And play both to death lol

 

Harvest Moon if there was a little fighting to do ;D
Rune Factory if there is more farming to do ;D

 

it just angers me, no real reason. I do like being able to marry an elf and have a half-born elf human monster child.

 

Totally depends on the user really.
Frankly after playing Rune Factory,Harvest Moon doesnt really look appealing to me anymore

Rune Factory.

 

The Rune Factory:Frontier for Wii is the best one I've played,I have 300 hours of gameplay.
Though I love Harvest Moon,they just throwed shit at it when they created the 3D Harvest Moon on the DS.[Island of Happiness,Sunshine islands,and so on].Twin Villages looks fucking good though,haha.

 

So far Rune Factory is in the league, poor Harvest Moon.
