no...a mod from pj64-emu.com, banned me, and said they're gonna send an abuse report to my isp...but i'm worried...cuz we we're under a 3 year contract, and can't afford, and were gonna attempt to cancel..maybe good'ol loony can tell me what it is...

What I said is if you repeatedly sign up to a website with the sole aim to harrass, abuse and otherwise make a nuisance of yourself then it is indeed against the AUP of pretty much all ISPs in the western world to specifically warn against this.

If you had service terminated for it (and it would take multiple offences I'm sure... but it has happened) then they could do so without offering a refund.

so just one offense won't hurt? YAY!

It wouldn't, I'm pretty certain that offence would have to be of a great magnitude. Though I wouldn't be too quick to go and do it on a regular occasion :) I when moderating another board know of at least one user who had his internet subscription cancelled by an ISP for repeated abuse, some racist.

Oh and in case you think I have a reputation, I wasn't involved in that case.

being involved in a case just depends when your on....i know that from experience...i mod on a few sites, which shall not be named (warez...) so i know what it's like to have people flame, i just don't think when upset =/ wow this has gotten way off topic...

    No it isn't way off-topic...

its a complaint to your ISP about you accessing their site after they banned you. most likely things to happen are a) nothing or b) you get a warning from your ISP.

Probably changing his IP address and then making another account each time perhaps?

Really if you look at it logically it was your friend you should be angry at for abusing the trust you placed in him.
