I'm bored and this is something I think about a lot.
I think a name can help define you, and you shouldn't just throw out some random name because it has "a good feel to it".

For instance I've found that every Vincent I've met (that goes by the name Vincent) becomes a pretty cool guy.

So here are the names I'd give boys:

    Adam
    David
    Dean
    Trevor
    Vincent

Here are some names for girls:

    Ashley
    Autumn
    Emily
    Kailey
    Kimberly
    Miranda

Here are some names I wouldn't give to boys:

    Clay
    Jason
    Samuel
    Steven
    Thomas

Here are some names that I wouldn't give to girls:

    Alexis
    Ciel
    Jessica
    Robyn

and any state/month/season is always a bad idea for a name (Except for Autumn)

Sorry if anybody's names fell into my lists, these are my opinion.

So how about your favorite/least favorite names?

Me too. I'm even friends with 2 of them. But it doesn't change my mind. Naming your child Tom could make his nickname become Tommy. And who wants that? Not me!
