i'm kinda wondering how we all got here, together, as a family on this forum, like what started all of our pirating addictions...i know mine was when i saw my school have nice programs (like photoshop),and i've pirated ever since..

    what's your story?

When I saw I could get $34.99 DS games for free. Also being able to find old games without paying tons of money on eBay.

haha, nice, wish mine had a good reason!

hmmm...i didn't consider music pirating, i just considered it available...

It was primarily music with video games on the side. The focus has definitely shifted though with video games being the priority and music being kind of secondary.

Never been much for pirating programs or anything.

There's already a thread like this but my start was that no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find a copy of Contact for the DS anywhere.

It was when my friend gave me an emulator patch and 6 N64 roms. I did my homework and started doing everything. I have basically every movie I have ever wanted/will watch and so many games that I haven't played all of them yet, let alone beat them. :p

My classmates (who had their own DSs, before I got mine) were talking about ROM Sites and such so I decided to jump in the fun (after i got my DS)

    You have two Wii's? lol

When I got my Wii and I saw on the internet that it was hacked.
Since then I began to learn about the DS and the Wii so I could hack them too. Still learning.

    Not even my image :p

Just something I found & used via Google.

I was referring to the big closed up picture of a device that sits on top of an SNES that uses 3'5" floppy disks :p
