i remeber hearing about and since i gots a 8gb touch screen polaroid today i wanna put some vids on it

First off, download & install Mozilla Firefox & set it as your primary (And ONLY!) Web Browser as IE sucks, Opera too & Chrome kinda.

Next download & install the Fire Fox "add-on" called "DownloadHelper" & presto!

You can now "own" *cough*Pirate*cough* videos from Youtube AND Other video hosting sites that may or may not be PG-13 Appropriate

I've tried downloading off sites but it's terrible. Try using aTube Cather, it's fast and simple to use.

I use Internet Download Manager which has a firefox plugin that can download any flv from any site, even porn sites.

The only places I haven't managed to download from was The Daily Show's website and some parts of cracked.com.

 

there are many sites i usauly type youtube convert to mp3 or avi ect and i go on the site copy the youtube address and paste it in the box then simply press format and download to a file pretty easy i do it for songs often

 

I wouldn't download music from youtube since the sound quality is normally rubbish...

But you can easily find loads of free converters or add ons

When you are ripping music from a video it always sounds crackerly at high volume

 

video2mp3.com (I think that's what it's called) works great.

And I use YouTube Downloader, but it's not built into the browser.

 

I find keepvid works best, it's easy to use and you don't need to download anything.

Ant Video is also good if you have firefox (I don't know if it's on anything else) it can download any video that is used with a SWF player, it's real simple too (simplicity is a god to me <3)

I also use Video2mp3 to.... "borrow" music straight off of youtube, it takes a video and converts it's audio into an mp3 for you to download quickly and easily.
It's good if you just want the audio from a video, like Trent from Punchy (is my ringtone XP)
