    Hi Nic,

You can come into the store or order online totally up to you.

    Regards,

    Me:
Thankx also one question would it be possible seeing as i have another model of this drive to do a PCB swap with my drive then exchange this drive with the old PCB At your store? thnx in advance

Me:sorry reading over it may be unclear what i had meant i mean can i do a PCB Swap with the drive i wish to purchase from your store with my old umart drive add the old umart drives PCB onto the drive i wish to purchase from your shop take it into your store and swap the drive for a new one? or do you guys sell the PCB at a much cheaper price or sumthing?

    Store:
Unfortunately no, as when you swap the PCB boards you void warranty, so you can buy the drive to do that with but you will get no warranty on both drives.

    Regards,

    Me:
Oh do u sell the PCB Boards seperate?

    Store:
No – No reason to as it would void the warranty on the drive you want to put it onto.

    Store:
Why don’t you take the drive back to Umart for warranty ? If you want to get the Data from it then you would need to take the drive to a data recovery place which will cost around $500 - $1000+ depending on how hard the information and how much information they get from the dead drive, but also doing this will void the warranty on the drive.

    Regards,

    Me:
I would take the drive back to umart for warranty but there is 400gb of really imprtant data on the drive and i dont want to pay that much but also be stuck with a absolute dead no PCB H/D so wat to do ? do u think it would be possible to dupe umart into believing that the hard drive i wish to purchase from you and put the hard drive i bought from thems PCB onto it and claim it as the one i bought there and get it exchanged via them will work or is this not such a good idea and very unbelievable?

    Store:
I wouldn’t do that no, as they will not replace you from stock and send it away anyway, to which the supplier will tell them the PCB has been changed and reject the warranty.

    Regards,

So what should i do as i do not left to be left with another 500GB hd perfect condition that i could really use the space for just missing a PCB so....what should i do exhange/waranty wise?

PS i cant do anything online only pickup/instore.
