OK, with Dual core what is a normal normal range temp? and as of last night they have been maxing the hell out doing tasks like using winrar and ripping dvds then after awhile everything bogs the hell down even just browsing on the internet. I downloaded a new gadget that shows the core speeds, and temp and its set to alert me when its getting near 90 degrees Fahrenheit and its been going nutty since I installed it. I figured it was near overheating so I shut it off for about 6 hours to see if it will cool off and just kicked it on and not been 30 mins and its bitching at me its getting "hot" I guess time to install extra fans? Loony oh wise one you got any slick suggestions?

90f is very cold for a CPU. Nowhere near a danger temperature.

Oh good, then I am overreacting! plus I've been up over 24hrs again.

So what is considered a dangerous temp and I will adjust this core temp program accordingly.

Wow so that's 127F pretty big difference...stupid program getting me all paranoid.

You may lock and thus hide my shame...eventually.

    MUHAHAHAHAA SHAME ON YOU.

Anyways, I too would like to ask a question.

If I were to use my computer for 12 hours, and my internet modem gets hotter then my PC, is that a problem?

mine does, but it stays on 24/7 as its a DSL modem plus I download quite a bit through the day and overnight as well. I have it on its side an a little desk fan blows on it.
