I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this sort of thing or not, but...

I've downloaded several games from this site for the DS. They all work pretty good, technically speaking. HOWEVER, several games that I have downloaded that are listed with the (U) tag are actually in Spanish! Not English, Spanish! Games like Phantom Hourglass, Picross, and Mario Kart DS are all in Spanish rather than English! What gives?[facepalm] ??? EDIT: People have been saying that it may be because my firmware isn't set to English. Well, if that's the case, then wouldn't ALL my games be in Spanish? It's just these three ones.

Some american games are in spanish, due to the big population of spansih people in america..., find a different version of the american roms...

What emulator do you use? Some of us can help you if you give us the specifications of the emu or rom. Otherwise, you're a sitting duck with no DS action.

I've also tried these games with their (E) versions, and even those are in spanish. Also, it's not always possible to find various versions of American ROMS, since most of the time it's the same ROM that's put up at all the different sites, IIRC.

EMU is N0$GBA V2.6a. Although I did find a rather roundabout way to fix the problem (and I have to implement it every time I start one of the games). Is there any way to get the emulator to just ALWAYS start up in English?

Yeah, I had the same issue as well a couple weeks ago. Another member of this forum sent me the BIOS files needed to fix the issue.

The forum member's name is Void. I think he sent it to me through RapidShare. I'm not so familiar with RapidShare. If anyone can help this guy out. Otherwise, I'll try my best.

EDIT: never mind. I have it.

PS. You better have a microphone attachment to your PC to play Zelda: PH

Did that BIOS file turn the games English? If they did, then please tell me about the BIOS, because I've had the same issue and never found out any way to fix it. ;)

If you use a DS emulator such as no$gba, you can change the option so that you load up the GBA Bios or the Nintendo GUI when you restart the emulator, then change it to english and it should be in english. That might be the solution that you have done before, maybe you heard it from me, I'm not sure. Best is to just keep doing it, it's not much of a hassle.
