Hi I like this translation patch, but I can't play on it because I'm waiting for my R4i gold to arrive. Anyway I think the following things need to be translated: Pokedex interface all the dialouge (You could use Gold/silver dialouge) Anything that's Japaneese could be translated. Also when you recieve an item it says: Sam put away the Poke ball into the (japaneese) pocket! Sam
Isn't that what Kazo is doing anyways? The moral here is to read the translation information before making a topic.
Er, no. You're all too needy. If you're so freakin' obsessed with having the whole thing in English, then WAIT FOR THE ENGLISH VERSION TO COME OUT.
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=179686 Just wait until he's finished it. People are too impatient to wait for Nintendo to translate it, it doesn't take 6 months to translate the game.
I think the least you could translate is the dialogue because many people already know all the moves and pokemon
THE LEAST? THE LEAST HE COULD DO IS DELETE ALL THE PATCHES HE'S MADE AND STOP THE PROJECT! Geez! He doesn't OWE you anything! I don't see YOU helping!
You're not any better. We wouldn't understand them if they were in japanese. What's with "you"? It's not like anyone in this topic is making the patch.
I realize that there are so many people (Including Myself) that want to play HeartGold/SoulSilver ASAP. But everyone has to realize that over 5 years ago when we'd wait for games like Ruby/Sapphire and FireRed/LeafGreen, we use to wait like humans. We never used to download the Japanese ROM and wait for an English Patch. All I'm saying is, if you could wait for it all those years ago, what's so different now? Atleast you're able to play a little of it in Japanese. You're so lucky that there are people like kazo that are even doing this patch. Personally if I was Kazo, I would've just done the translating project for myself and let everyone suffer and wait for the real thing, but I'm not Kazo am I?
I think it's pretty much pointless to translate any further. If you're like me,you just wanted to get a feel for the game, not play the whole freakin' thing. Good job dude. What IS translated is perfect. Thank you.
the dialoge doesnt need to be translated guys, just what is important, like the reason for why you need to say yes/no and what you are supposed to do next, even though it is a remake of Gold/Silver it has its differences just like firered/leafgreen was different from red/yellow/blue, what is important should at least be translated, translating the move names would be helpful as well as what they do, might be some new moves after all, i can do without but would prefer a partial translation cause i know all the moves quite well, but the other things like where to go next would be nice because i dont know gold/silver very well, so i would be clueless about the story line, id just run around till i found were to go next, kinda sucks for time issues but lving is great
Like I said, Kazo won't translate any dialougue. And guess where I am in the game? I BEAT RED! I DEALT WITH THE JAPANESE, AND I STRUGGLE TO READ IT!
