So.. What PSP games should I be avoiding?

I know pretty much what I'm going to be aiming to get for now, but after I get Shadow of Destiny, Dissidia, Tales of the World, and Persona 3 Portable..... Things get sketchy after that.

But I'd like to know what games to avoid, so I don't waste my money on crappy pieces of crappy crap.

    Any advice?

Best advice is to tell us what you are thinking about?

First look around, find a few games you like, then tell us.

There are tones of shovel ware out there, but they might not be in your gerne type and you might not go anywhere near them such as dinner dash (YES-A PSP PORT D:)

I do advise with the games that interest you, read reviews, weight them up, watch some gameplay vids (AVOID CUT SCENE ONES-YOU NEED GAMEPLAY TO JUDGE) and go from there.

I can't tell you what to avoid, but I sure can tell you what you should get. If you love rhythm, o2Jam style games, get DJMax.

Well, here's a list of all the games I'm going for so far... If they're not worth it, just tell me.

...or if they pull an Aquaria, where it says to be continued but will never have a sequel ever.

    List:
    Patapon 2
    Persona 3 Portable
    Fat Princess
    Shadow of Destiny
    LocoRoco
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
    Dissidia: Final Fantasy
    Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
    Crystal Defenders
Whatever random Rhythm games I can find

...That's all I can remember. lol The rest were download-only, and I've found that I can't do that.

...there is analouge...the psp fps games just have been adapted to the controls, thus there is no challenge because the games auto lock onto enemies and they are brain dead.

    I dont think she's a fps gamer :/

It is. Been out for a while, and Midnight Carnival is out as well. Both are amazing games.

Yeah, but getting a LocoRoco game at all would be nice.

Puzzle quest isn't that expensive, and pretty nice.

It's pretty bad on the DS :p
I loved it on the Ipod touch, and on the PSP it's pretty nice. You could also first hack your psp, put some games on it you want to buy, buy them and delete the games?
    ... Sorta.

No, I mean I hate the concept. I've looked it up on other consoles and I found it was just way too slow.

If you like warioware you should get WTF (worktime fun) for PSP.

One thing to REALLY avoid though is bad PS2 platformer franchise continuations/spinoffs. Notably sucky ones are: Secret Agent Clank (Crap metal gear) and Jak And Daxter The lost frontier (which isn't BAD, but just meh.) Daxter, however, is excellent.

Also, if you like the weird games, get me and my katamari. (I assume you're DLing these so you needn't worry about price. :p)

ah...alrighty then. if ya like platformers go with daxter. Avoid the others. it'd be the most fun for your buck.
