I have a feeling it will be Platinum, new metagame, new moves, more multiplayer stuff, bigger map, more friends, etc. But Pokemon yellow is very Nostalgic
It's hard to decide since they're all so similar and repetitive to the point of redundancy. Beat 8 gym leaders, stop evil organization, and beat elite 4. The first couple of versions up to silver/gold was fun. Then the later versions were extremely dull.
all of the pokemon games are awesome!! but i'm sure people will say it's platinum because it's the latest!! and has many upgrades to wi-fi multiplayer and some few pokemons!!! hehehehe!! but i'll say all of the versions are worth playing!!!
i liked pokemon collesseum (sp?) on the gamecube because it was one of the pokemon titles to was "different" from the other pokemon games. I liked the fact that it was 3D too however if you only count the games that were on the handhelds i would choose diamond and pearl because it had wifi and tons of cool features.
GSC have been my favourite generation thus far. The newer Pokemon designs and concepts seem to have lost the genuine Pokemon feel, imo.. :/
i agree i prefered the gold and silver versions, then using my pkm in pkm stadium 2 (those were the days................. :'()
Gold/Silver/Crystal were the best. they offered two regions! gasp! you'd think by now, with DS games that reach 128 MB they can afford to fit multiple regions together? or at least do one like that for Wii? the thing in Battle Revolution, Stadium, etc... that bothers me is that there really isn't much exploring to do. i haven't played any of these too much, but last i checked you're basically stuck where you are
I was unfortunate enough to buy Battle Revolution It sucked, it was nothing like the stadium games and a rather pointless game. so i swapped it for medroid prime ;D
Fire Red and Leaf Green did but they weren't that good... I want Ash's Story or Gary's story to be produced by a proper development team
when i said two regions i meant two areas from different generations combined, ie the Kanto and Johto region put under one game. i don't remember FireRed and LeafGreen doing that. i think it only had Kanto Gary's story would be interesting...
true, true. but you couldn't explore the other regions, which was what i was really hoping they would add in for a future game. along with an actual STORYLINE rather than the generic "10 year old leaves house with one pokemon and becomes master" thing they have right now. something that we can actually follow and make us want to read some of the text
And what's strange is everytime the player's Trainer begins his or her Pokemon journey their parent (usually mother) doesn't mind that a 10-year old kid is wandering the countryside looking for Pokemon & not going to school as a normal kid should ;D
