Hey, is there a program on which I can use to find out what my computer (and others such as the schools and the libraries) can play as in PC Games? It should be a program that I can easily run or without Installation or from a webpage.

NOTE: I am not talking about benchmarking, I am talking about possible games that a specific PC can play based on the Specs.

Why don't you just read the system requirements for most of the games? Because most games require huge amounts of hardware, you would need to understand what your computer does first and not just get games that exceed that limit.

So if you understand your computers capacity, you would not need to look.

CYRI only shows whether or not you can run the game. Playing it is a different story. For example, just because your computer can run XXX game, it doesn't mean everything will play smoothly.

Other then that i would suguest checking the comp specs using dxdiag and comparing the results to the minimum and/or recommended requirements for a game.

just because it was wrong about one game in your case does not make it wrong most of the time.

At least it went that way, if it went the other way and said you could run it when you can't, you just wasted your money on a game.
Its never been wrong for me, it occasionally says I need some upgrades but the game has always ran anyway.

Just for the hell of it, this is my PCs Specs (which has gotten better because I basically "borrowed" my dads DDR ram from this old PC.

AMD Athlon 1800+ @ 1.53 Ghz (thought of overclocking, unable to even try it because of motherboard restrictions)
    1GB of DDR RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 4 Series 440 MX with 64MB of Graphics RAM

I am able to play CS 1.6 (no duh) at like 100+ fps, the indicator just goes crazy, CrossFire @ 800x600 with the lowest possible settings @ average of 24 fps when a lot of people are in the room to a peak of 80 fps when it's 1v1 to 3v3. I can play GTA3 with no lag or crashing. I can obiously play StarCraft but not SC2. That's basically it, I'll probably benchmark it soon too!

yeah I know, not the new-ish games like COD6. I went onto cyri and it said that i cant play cod4. I'll probably get a new PC by Christmas (a gaming or high spec one)

The CYRI got it way wrong...
    my specs are: P4 3.1GHZ, 1GB DDR Ram, Nvidia Geforce 8400 512MB
and I can just barely run COD4, I get 15FPS tops

    15fps isn't playable.
