Read the [rules]. Using internet shorthand, such as "u" and "plz" is against the rules.

it really did have a lot of potential... but the story and gameplay did bore me to death eventually. not even drawing a giant p**** as the main protagonist did much to cheer me up

You mean Kirby: Canvas Curse. Nice fail. Sorry, the UK version of the game is indeed called Kirby: Power Paintbrush. Sorry.
It is also called Kirby: Canvas Curse though. Which makes a lot more sense according to the story in the game.

ehhh, no. It's a well made game that was worthy of the DS' first original killer app. It's fun for a first play through and it's fun for completists who wanted to collect the medals and buy everything in in-game store. It's a very well made game.

Although, if you're saying that you, yourself did not like it. Well, that's completely subjective. But don't go out and spurring out your opinion like it's fact. Also good job on the somewhat unnecessary post insane.

My opinion of the game, it's good. I liked it until a certain point. Because it's meant for bursts of play through, if you play it for too long it gets a bit boring and repetitive. All-in-all though, I enjoyed it. I like Kirby. Kyooot

It got a 9 on the IGN review, but I think it's too gimmicky. I don't like most stylus-based games, because it takes out 5 buttons for functionality. I have said this before somewhere on the forum. It's also not my kind of game.

I like games that don't depend on the stylus to make it a good game. If the stylus were just a little more accurate (either the sensor, or the stylus), I might appreciate them more, but until then, no.

I see. So you don't like DS games that have a dependency on the touch screen?
    Okay, that's understandable.
Did you play it later in the DS' lifetime? Because when the DS first came out the few games worth owning were Mario 64DS and.. Kirby really, if you didn't play it as a launch title then yeah, it wouldn't be as good. Because you've played much better games than it.

I found it to take advantage of the touch screen pretty well, depending if you had steady hands and a steady environment and calibrate your DS I find the screen to be accurate. Of course, I play a lot of touch screen heavy games and use the stylus a lot (being Meteos, Advance Wars and a few others I forgot meh). Maybe I'm used to it? I dunnnoooooooooo. Oh nuuuuuuuuuuu.

I respekt ur opinion tho. Although saying it's a shit game with Kirby and giving no explanation why it's shit is not something I can respect. And then you agreeing with it. I'd respect it more if it was a "I think it's a crappy game with Kirby". I'd respect it more if given why he didn't like it.

Um.. Yeah, it's one of my pet peeves.

I'll just reply to you guys on how you guys sound RIGHT NOW.

I love this game. Reason = It's got Kirby's face in it.

    Become my slaves.

    The end.

I like pies, and things that are pie-like in general. But not penises, sorry.

    EDIT:

GET YOUR OWN IDEAS, WHY POST WHEN ALL YOU SAY IS "YEA"?

is it a homebrew game? because if it is, by that description it sounds like you mean pocket physics. you draw objects on screen and they 'come to life' and are affected by a simulated gravity.

I LOVE KIRBY more than the next guy but Ive got to agree that this is on game that I actually preferred Kirby's face not being in it. (>-.-)>

I played just about every DS game later in its lifetime and I went from the first rom to pretty much the last in finding any decent game I wanted to play when I first got my DS. Since this was pretty much a launch title, I played this first before I played other games like TWEWY, any Final Fantasy game, or Advance Wars. Even playing it first didn't help that much. I was expecting this to be more like the classic Kirby games, where you control him, suck up enemies, acquire their power, and then kick some ass, but no, they decided to completely scrap the controls and make something new. This really does parallel the Wii in so many ways. For example, for how great Twilight Princess is/was, the Wiimote just ruined the controls. Why should I have to relearn how to do everything when I can use a gamecube controller? Who actually uses a Wiimote to play Brawl? This is the exact same type of scenario with Kirby.

I calibrate mine every so often and I do it with a fine point. I use my stylus from my Treo 750 because that has a finer tip and that still doesn't help as much as I would like. I can't imagine how you can manage to play Advance Wars any other way besides the classic button setup. To me, that takes way too long to execute, when I can either sit there and try to get my units to move using the stylus (and it always being the wrong destination), or use the D-pad, which takes half of the time.

I am glad that FFIV has minimal stylus usage in it. Besides the minigames, and the ability to walk using the stylus (which is pointless again, since everything else is button-based), they kept it nice and simple.

I can argue again even with Pokemon as an example. Everything is button-based, besides a few commands when you issue an attack. Why should I even take my stylus out? And poffins are a waste of my time.

I know this seems like I'm just bashing the NDS in general, but really, Nintendo cut a lot of corners, not just in stylus accuracy, but in everything else as well.
