I'm wondering what's the difference between them besides the name. My friend is leaning towards getting an R4i because she wants to play other console games too, but seeing the R4 in stores, it looks like the Edge ; I know a little more of the Edge, but not so much the R4 or R4i. Also, can the Edge play any other consoles besides NDS games? Thankies in advance ^_^
the edge is much more compatible than the R4 (which is a fake since the original ones haven't been available for years), meaning it plays far more games with less trouble. The R4i is DSi compatible (NDS flashcards are not) but the best DSi flashcart is the acekard 2i. edge is one of the best DS cards. All flashcarts can run emulators for consoles from the snes era and older, though it depends how good the emulator is.
