what is the best software/firmware for DSi?

Hi, my R4i, i think it called needs an update, can anyone tell me the best firmware that would allow me to play games like Pokemon Silver/ Heart, (2010)?.

There is currently no firmware for Pokemon Soulsilver/Heartold that runs without any freezes

There are many firmwares that run HG/SS perfectly. AKAIO does and a few others, but no R4 does.
