what happens when ?

hi guys!
does anyone know what happens if you have
multiple cheat files in your system folder?
will the cheats be ok or will the cheats only
come out of one of the files?
(for the R4)

 

That is fine, however it will still only read from the database named as usrcheat or cheat.dat

No. The firmware will only read from cheat.dat or usrcheat.dat, regardless of whatever database files may be in the _system_ folder.

 

also, does the cheats work if we change the name of the game files?
because i always rename my games when i get them because
i take the tags out

 

Yes it should still read them as long as the GameID is the same.
