What genre is pacman... ?

i need to know. i never thought about till now since it was part of my exam question... i put maze/arcade genre.
this question eludes me so as i have no assurance of my answer...

 

I would consider it "Maze" good question regardless.

Arcade would fit as well also wiki calls the genre maze. so call it both!

 

I prefer to call it arcade.

yeah its more of a maze kind of game... but it was on arcades.... its considered.....

But doesn't it matter which pacman it is? Theres the original Arcade pacman and the new Pacman like on the DS.
I would consider the older ones arcade.

I'd have to say an Arcade game. It's not a dungeon crawler for sure.

 

It's considered "Hallucinogen/Simulation/Horror/Hunger/Circleguy".

 

It's clearly a survival horror. You are alone in a dark maze, there is no way out, and there are killer ghosts after you. It should be made into a movie.
