    So okay, I have 2 no$gba downloads...

I've extracted one and it only has a Battery folder, Slot folder, no$gba emulator, no$gba configurations, no$gba.inp file and a readme file.

The other one has a Battery folder, Slot folder, no$gba emulator, no$gba configurations, no$gba.inp file, no$gba.cht file, biosnds9.rom file, ds_firmware, biosgba.rom file and biosnds7.rom.

My question is which one should I use?

I use my No$GBA 2.6 with the BIOS files, because some games cant play without them. Anandjones will respond when he gets on, he's the mod for these technical stuff.

Cool, I hope soon, I really want to finally play with little freezing as possible. I was really enjoying Luminous Arc and all of a sudden "BAM" froze. I was just about to get into a battle too... :-\

Use the first setup of files, I have an old no$gba pack I burned to a CD a while ago, that had the same files in your second setup, which had the BIOS, particularly useful for Pokemon D/P, also came with the magnify addon. Can you please tell me which versions of no$gba are those? Check in Help, About. If you know, use the newer/newest version. Better to.

The first one is version: 2.6a

The second one with the bios files is version: 2.6a

??? ??? ??? Weird, they are the same.

And guess what...both of them froze on me...

When does it freeze? Use the second one then.

They both froze when I was about to begin a battle. And they were both at different times. The first one froze on the second battle. The second one froze when I was about to do the third battle. Both of them had to deal with a story battle.

But I'll continue to use the second one then and get rid of the first one.

Yeah, as you could just easily move or delete the BIOS files if you needed to. Try changing the 3D renderer, and making sure it's as fast as it can go (sound quality = fast etc.)

Could you please post the links where you got your no$gba with the BIOS files from, or if that's not allowed PM them to me, I've been looking for those for some time now.

I'll upload all those files you want, I'll edit this when I'm done. Oh yeah, since it's the emulators own different BIOS.

    Thanks anand :D

By the way, what's the DS firmware file for anyway? Isn't that for flashcarts?

That's the actual firmware, for some reason it's come unpacked and just left there being unnecessary, although it's actually named firmware.bin. You don't really need it. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W2JIJEHS

It's funny cause I got it off here in the forums last night.....The total .rar file was like 458KB and that's the one with the BIOS files...the first one without the BIOS file was like 158KB...

Probably had a extra file in there.

Ah okay. And what 3d render should I put it on. I have a opengl one and a nocash one. I have it set on nocash.

Go for OpenGL, since DS's 3D is OpenGL. no$gba's renderer is pretty bad.

Oh okay...maybe that's what caused me to freeze last night.
