Well to answer your question, besides buying an R4 SDHC flash cart; you also need to buy an SDHC MICRO SD card of your prefered size. You also need to own a DS console for the flash cart to be use on. Without an NDS console, you can't play the R4 cart. Don't forget to also download the Pokemon Black/White 2 rom, the rom extension is .nds. As for kernel, download it from your cart's official website, and you might want to see if YSMENU/TTMENU supports your cart or not. It's a secondary firmware to use on top of your R4's main firmware. If it's been long time abandoned, like Jhon 591 said, then play on an emulator on your PC, or buy a better supported cartridge.
