I know Ignore list may not show the post from the people in the list. But the question is: What does buddy list do? Is it just to know? And how to add somebody to ignore list? I try to go to somebody's profile and there just [Add To Buddy List] link.
To add to ignore list, add the name in exact font to the listing in message options...somewhere.. Never knew about the buddy list-I MUST use that (But what would it do exactly...prioritize who's gonna be shown first in a busy inbox maybe?)
I was under the impression that; Then lo and behold.... the buddy feature shows up. Can I expect Farmville to make it's arrival in the near future?

Sometimes you find interesting points, or just something to laugh about or see how people change...I can't give examples but hay, you'd be surprised if you look back in my history...

None of us has any idea. It's something that ship with the forum, not something we created. Try it out and experiment with it.
On that shitty Computeractive magazines forum they have a friends list and visits to your profile page by others are noted and counted.
