What audio/video player do you use? I use Media Player Classic, it's fast and gets the job done, with great seek speed unlike Windows Media Player.

I use foobar2000 for my audio player... I love how customisable and lightweight it is... as for video I use Windows Media Classic. :D

I don't like RealPlayer. It's sort of intrusive.

I use Media Player Classic for videos and Windows Media Player for audio.

I use Xion for audio...It's a skinnable audio player I slapped onto my flashdrive. Whereas for video, I use Windows Media Player :p

media player classic (k-lite) / nero 8'll occasionally play a song, used mainly for the burning rom???

Yes Nero is for burning, you're probably talking about Nero Media Player. K-Lite is a pack of audio and video codecs but I still use it too.

I use Windows Media Player for both audio and video. I use the ffdshow audio and video decoder, and pretty much everything works beautifully...

yeah... wasn't sure if media play classic listed by other members was the same as what i use so i added the klite, and my pc is rarely used for music... nero is the only program i have that'll play music... um whats it called? i wanna say nero showtime? i really don't like it at all, but as much as i need a audio player, i deal with it . i burn a lot of dvd's and programs, nero seems to me to do better than everything i've tried

    Depends on OS
Windows: foobar2000 for audio, Media Player Classic for video
Linux: amaroK/Listen for audio, totem player Xine for video

Good thing there are Media player Classic users here 'cause I have a question:

How can you make MPC read RealMeadia (RM) audio/video files without installing Real?

Thanks loony, so I found real alternative & am about to download it now I have another question:

Can I install it in the same folder as the Combined Community Codecs pack January 2008 edition?

And will there be no hassle, that is won't it have conflictions with that?

no, it shouldn't conflict with anything.
