    Other than those^ you can use it for organizers, portable web browser, instant messaging, watch movies, read comics, draw pictures, and to keep a child silent for hours.

    Ah, our NDS is pretty useful. :D

    Ha! I have tried the comics also, but its just too aggravating for me. LOL I prefer comicrack on the PC as I can read 2 pages at once and don't have that "feel like something is cut off/missing" feeling.

    Looks real good when playing A Witch's Tale. These are window stickers bought at the dollar store.
    Maybe change to gingerbread man after Halloween.

  8. I do it too. I also have an app for playing Visual Novels, using which I've completed Saya no Uta and have gotten a ways into Fate Stay Nights Saber arc. Which I expect to be pretty boring as it's the one the anime followed. I don't realyl count these as 'games' because in cases like Narcissu and Planetarian you don't even make a couple choices through the story. (And neither of those (planetarian and Narcissu) have pr0n in them either) holy geeze brackets in brackets :s
    I have but have yet to put comic reader DS onto mine but I'll get to it. I have most of the Spawn and Deadpool series to go through, as well as Full Metal Panic and Vinland Saga.
    Haven't tried using it as an mp3 player because... I never really felt like it.

    Honestly I mostly use my ds to listen to music, although I also have it set up to make outgoing calls, browse the internet, sketch pad, kinda repetitive but I also have an application that lets me find near by wifi ports. Also Maggie that's real cool what you did with your DS I'm gonna have to see if I can do something similar cause that's wicked.

    Neato - what's the app to get it to make phone calls? I haul my laptop around when I'm in town to make free calls from it, but I'd rather just use my DS. lol

    Where do you go to get e-books? The only e-book I have is the 100 Classic Book Collection.

    I do things on my DS like:
    1. Test my own programs,
    2. Listen music,
    3. Play Homebrew,
    4. And so on.

    Are E-Books Digital books?

    How do you use it as a phone? Do you have to be in a place that has WiFi? Do you have to pay? This could be good for my kids, they don't have cell phones.

    Yes, Wifi is needed. You also need a VOIP server to call up people, with that wifi signal.

    Yes, usually you have to pay. VOIPbuster though has free servers.

    I use the app DSReader. The only downside is you can only read .txt files, as the DS isn't strong enough to support PDF browsing (or so I've heard). There's a lot of classics that are public domain available in .txt, but since you have the 100 Classic Books Collection, you probably have the majority of the good ones. The other option of course is the illegal route of torrents... @_@;;

    Am I allowed to ask how to get those books from torrents? I have never done torrents so I need step by step instructions. Do they have best sellers?
    I have been able to put the DSReader on the R4 but not on the DSTTi. Thanks so much.
    Someone tell me if this is possible. If you can get internet connection on the DS, then go to a place where there is WiFi, then you can listen to the radio from the station's website, or watch TV from some cable network?
    About the phone, let say my son is calling me from his DS, where do I answer? On my computer? Does it let me know with a ping? If it's not loud enough, I miss the call?

    I'm not sure if we're allowed to give instructions on obtaining torrents or not. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say how to download them, just not provide links to sites with copyright protected torrents... maybe? Anyway, first you need a program to download torrents - I use uTorrent, it's pretty popular & easy to use. You can search for torrents on Google.

    [edit] Forgot to include this link to a site with a loooot of really good books in .rtf format. To convert from .rtf to .txt, just open it in whatever word processor you use, then click the drop down menu for file type & save as text.

    Hmm - I use a regular DSTT, so I'm not sure if the DSTTi doesn't support DSReader or not. Make sure you put a folder named 'DSReader' on the root of your SD card, with any .txt files & DSReader.nds (the app itself) in there. DSReader only allows six characters for book names as well, so abbreviation is your friend. lol

    Not sure on the web browsing thing. I haven't used my DS for web browsing. ^^;;

    If you set up the DS to make VOiP calls, he'd be able to call phone lines - your house phone, cell phone, other people on VOiP numbers on computers, ect.

    I'm tempted to attempt to set my DS up to make phone calls now, but I can't test it until I'm in town around a free hot spot. @_@
