I hope someone can help me. I believe I've done everything correctly in order to download DS games but when I put my R4 (SDHC) card in my DS it tells me there is an error.

I followed the step by step instructions on youtube that was posted in "Tutorials" by someone but still nothing!!!

    Please help!!!

When I turn my DS on, where you'd choose the game (with regular game pack) it says "Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft" I click on that, then the screen goes all white with a small square saying "Error" in red.

sounds like firmware problems, and you say you followed the instructions correctly,

i would try again, reinstalling your firmware, assuming you have the correct firmware for your card

I'm sorry but I'm not technically savy :) what is firmware? I downloaded the "kernel" at www.r4i-sdhc.com. The R4 card I have is R4I SDHC upgrade and the "Kingston (Brand)" Micro SD card 8gb.

Does that help you at all?

I downloaded Moonshell and Winrar and the kernel as I mentioned. Do I need anything else?

I tried 2 different games to see if that was the problem.

    the kernel is your firmware

which 2 games did you try?, maybe anti piracy issues

So what is it then? Have I downloaded all I need?

Do you think you could send me a step by step instruction on what I need to do? I can give you my email address. So sorry to bug you, but I truely appreciate the help!

k, not an anti piracy issue then

did the kernel come with the card?

    So what do you suggest?

it's your firmware, either setup wrong on your card, or incorrect firmware for your card

Ok, so how do I go about setting it up correctly? Do I delete it all and start over? Including the Moonshell?

no the moonshell will not stop your games from working,

where did you get your kernel from?

and how do you know it is the right kernel?

No not a DSi a DS Lite.

I don't know if I'm using the right kernel. The tutorial said to use the most recent one.

    R4i-SDHC or R4i upgrade?
