I like weird games...the good kind of weird where originality comes to mind. From rolling into a massive clusters in Katamari Forever to exploring hazardous caves in Spelunker HD (PSN), these two can be catergorized as being the good weird fun games. As for Boku No Natsuyasumi series by Millienum Kitchen, the game that focuses on a 9 year old boy who spends his summer vacation at the outskirts of town, collecting bugs, fishing, bottle caps admiss lush and beautiful landscapes will never see its daylight in being localized into English. I personally love this games although I don't understand the language but it captures the very essence of being original. The graphics are top notch too. Are there any other weird games for the PSP and PS3 you have personally played and wished to share your thoughts?
Oh what OFW are you using....Waninkoko doesn't support 3.55 pkg...only Kmeaw...I tried to change to Kmeaw but all my backups don't work...guess I have to go to the shop to do it...I really hate paying RM 100 for some easy job...cause it only takes like a few mins to install everything but I don't dare to dabble with it scared it might brick my PS3...the only pkgs Waninkoko supports is 3.41 and it has to be signed...plus mine is V2 of the Waninkoko, I really didn't know they gave this to me when I took this to the shop....damn them. I can't go online cos I don't have an internet access....
Hacking to Kmeaw 3.55 CFW takes less time than transferring the 3.55 PUP to a USB drive... Also, I'm surprised no one said Pain. Heavy Rain. The control scheme alone is enough to categorize it into the weird category. Resonance of Fate is kinda weird too. The absolute lack of a story for the first half of the game, the fact that you lose the tri attack in the middle of the game because you don't have 3 members, and the battle system with temporary and permanent damage...Very atypical for a JRPG. Also, there's pretty much any PS3 game made by Nippon Ichi.
I think El Shaddai Accension of the Metatron is a really weird game, are the graphics supposed to be like tron-like? plus the story is so strange....Resonance of Fate is a very difficult RPG, even for a veteran like me, either you like it or hate it I guess.
LittleBigPlanet and whatever Katamari Damacy game is on there. There's no way those two AREN'T weird. Hell, the latter looks like it was invented while the creator was high.
Dark Souls looks decent, hopefully the tools for signing PS3 backups for Kmeaw will be out before the really good games are released.
I just discovered a game called Raifan Taiwan Highspeed Rail...something like a train sim but it really has nice graphics. Kinda slow but it's in 1080p and it's kinda weird kind of game.
