http://www.theprisoneronline.com/More-Information/Wtach-The-Prisoner-For-Free.html i watched this video a while back, probably 3-4 years ago, on pbs late night. about a guy who is placed on an island along with other inhabitants. he tries to escape but can't because of the high security of the island. he investigates the island to figure out who, what, where and why. there are instances of this series being used in todays tv shows, movies, etc... one example is from the simpsons tv show.
