Considering that I do try to do the right thing...well try anyway... How do I check this on the current system-or is it not installed in this forum now? Before I was able to see past infractions even when i was listed as zero. Now I can't check... Anyway, any news on this would be nice, and if there has been any changes (ie 3 strike system) then let me know so I can bite my tougue more so to speak... A mod/admin reply would be most apriciated in this matter, thanks for your understanding
They got rid of the privilege for regular members to see it. Which is understandable considering your warning level goes down by 1% a day. If you felt it need be, you can do something against the rules, wait a week or two, and do it again with no repercussions if Seph/Loony/Reider/Tirrith don't realize it's the same person.
...coulda pm'd the last part...but the fact we had it in the first place (seemed like a custom mod-my smf forum lacks it) means it was put there for a reason. Prehaps (sorry to guess mods) it's to ward off trolls that know the system-to get warned they might have 99 points, and may not know it, and get banned for a relitivly small offence... Ether way I'll respect when or why the system isn't viewable to the general public.
I would say MDS that you should be more concerned as to why you are getting warnings rather than seeing your status.The warning I got the other day was explained,and I deserved it.This place is very liberal compared to other sites,so you must be doing something wrong to keep getting these warnings. Or look at it this way- no posting = no warnings
I understand the warnings I've gotten already. I just prefer to "shut up" more when i get one, plus it's just handy to know-a real troll tends to ignore the warning level. And besides, it's relitivly harmless, and now...I'd doubt I'd get this one again.
Explain your idea better. You mean reduce the points to download games? The point of the warning system is to help mods find high risk posters, if one reaches 100%, they are removed.
Err. They are a good deal before that. We do not use the warning system when considering bans. Warning system takes away privileges. For example if your warning level goes above 50% you cannot post at all.
