We do realize that it's a bit ironic to have such a rule when we readily ignore it with the ROMs but it's mostly so we don't draw anymore attention to ourselves then we are currently doing with the ROMs on the site. We're semi-protecting ourselves.
Technically, yes. But 99% of the people here don't realise this, and the 1% that do actually get the gist of it.

Yes, but a lot of the people looking for that stuff aren't very bright Most of us here are exceptions.
