I am currently competing against nex on Wallstreet Survivor, and I'd like to expand this competition a little bit. Wallstreet Survivor is a stock market simulator. They give you $100,000 to spend on the stock market and see how well you would have done if you had invested real money. Everything is hypothetical, but it uses the actual stock market. You are given two portfolios, one is permanent, and the other is a one month competition portfolio. Tomorrow, June 1st, the $100,000 competition resets. It will last one month. At the end of the month, the person with the highest 100K contest portfolio value will win. To get in on the contest create an account at www.wallstreetsurvivor.com/ and send me a friend request. Also post your user name here so we know who is who. My user name is Koniferus. Nex is nex nexington. Anandjones is anandjones.
It's surprisingly addictive, I find myself watching the stock market section of the news abit more closely now, too bad the game uses the american stock market, I'm learning useless things.
I joined less than a week ago, actually. I played for the first day then forgot about it. Let's check how much money I've lost so far... $868.70.
You said you would check... your "amount of money" contradicted your earlier statement as it was a possitive number. Your pretty rubbish if your making a loss You gotta invest in IPO's man... IPO's...
I don't know exactly, Koniferus goes on about them... he looks like he knows what he's doing so I think it's best if I listen.
XD Initial public offerings. when a company offers shares to the public for the first time. Usually they fail miserably or their stock skyrockets in a couple days before settling back down. I actually thought more people would be interested in this competition.
I am failing. Portfolio value is at $95,630.22 $182,000? Wow dude that's amazing. What's your user name Born2KillX?
